Here is the full video with color corrections. I'm not 100% confident about the color grade during the last part. I tried to get it to match the rest of the darker/more blue scenes, but it needed some more adjustments to get it to look similar. Shot 1 and 2 of the final sequence is where I plan to get all the doors. With sand breaking up the hard line of the beach and door interior and sand on the feet.
I have more rendered for the video, I just didn't get a chance to put it all in. All the doors have been re-rendered with the updated door model. Door 7 was extended down a little so it leaves less of a gap when the door closes. The position of door 3 was changed.
This is my node graph for getting making the sand and putting it in the doorway and on his feet. In the final comp node graph, I premulted it before merging for shot 2 but not for shot 1. You can see the difference in the video above. I think I may premult for all of them.
During class tomorrow, I will be downloading and importing all of my new renders. Then I will finish adding extra sand to the scene. I will also update the ending color grade after receiving feedback. After that, all that will be left is making breakdowns.

Here is the color grade for the scenes after the bird flies off. I used the SL Matrix Blue color correction to start and then lowered the highlights:

As I'm waiting for my doors and shadows to render, I am color correcting. I went through all of the ones that are available on Premiere Pro just to get an idea on the direction that I wanted to head in. I chose a couple shots and compared them without color correction and the 3 options I could work from.

I'm going to work from Fuji F125 Kodak 2395. I like the warmer feel that is more of a pinkish red, than an orange.
